    A few issues:

1- I was able to change the OG tags image by finding the image filter Yoast SEO uses thanks to this article: https://www.ibenic.com/programmatically-change-yoast-seo-open-graph-meta/ it’s funny because your original documentation lacks the image og tag filter documentation: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/change-og-url/

I’m trying to figure out what filter sets the og:image:width and og:image:height? When I set the image filter alone it doesn’t set an og image width and height, of course I don’t want to add it manually if you have a filter for it.

2- What are the filter for the Twitter card images? I can’t find documentation on it like I was able to for the facebook image, can you please let me know what it is?

    Best Regards,
    Uriahs

  • Hello Uriahs,

Thanks for your questions. Please find our answers below:
    1) Currently, setting the image in the Social section of the Yoast metabox will not output the og:image:height and og:image:width tags. To do this, you need to use the featured image option.
This issue has been reported to our developers. You can find the issue here and add any additional information you may have.

2)Can you please send us more information about what you want to change in the Twitter image tag so we can check if we have an available filter?

Please let us know if you have any further information.

I want to change the twitter card image

In order to programmatically change the open graph image for Twitter, you’ll need to use the wpseo_twitter_image filter.

@fried_eggz… just so you know I got an email with your unedited comment.

I haven’t came around to testing the filter yet because the project is on pause, so I don’t know if it works, but I assume it will, so thank you @mazedulislamkhan
