Amazon publisher Studio/Ad blocking plugin

Hi,
I am not able to do a search when trying to add an affiliate link to my post using Amazon publisher studio I get a messages saying “Search failed. Please check network connection or turn off any ad blocking plugin”

I have a good network connection and I don’t have any ad blocking plugin. Is there a setting in wordpress that blocks ads?
