    I really like the look of this and have had a ‘play’ with your free plugin. Before I go ahead I have a few questions. (Apologies if these seem self-explanatory or have already been answered somewhere else)
    1. Location Manager – Is it correct that I need this for more than one town? (I only need two towns)
    2. Custom post type – I need various ‘directories’ such as mydomain.com/attractions, mydomain.com/hotels, mydomain.com/restaurants. Am I correct in saying that I need this plugin? Also is it possible to ‘link’ these together? For example I enter an attraction but as they also have a hotel and restaurant can I list in all, or do I have to list separately?
    3. Events – This is an important part of my site. I currently use Events Calendar which ranks very well. Does your events plugin compare with this? Does it rank well and do individual events rank?
    4. Adsense – This is an important part of my current site. Is there a way to add adsense to the listings? For example half way down the description or on the right hand side?
    5. Is there a way to change the layout of the right hand column of a listing? For example maybe add an adsense unit at the top above the address?
    6. Shortcodes – At the moment I have a page on my website for hotels which has some text and then some listings. I would want something similar on my new directory so text followed by a shortcode to show just hotels. Is this possible and if so how do I avoid any duplicate content issues?
    7. Any recommended themes? I currently have a newspaper style theme and would like something similar. Do you have/know of any similar themes that you know this would work with geo directory?

    Hi,

    1. Correct, the free version allow for 1 location.

    2. That is correct. You can link listing of 1 custom post type to listing of another cpt only. Not multiple: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/

    3. If the content is valuable for Google it will be ranked no matter what plugin you use. To work with the rest of the directory, our plugin is better than anything else, you can also link events to other listings, which you couldn’t do with other event calendars.

    4. It will be easy to add ads from ad sense, you can add them in plenty of built in widget areas or via hooks almost anywhere.

    5. That will require a small customization, we have examples in our forums.

    6. You can create pages for listings with shortcodes, but the system already provide archives for all custom post types and categories, so it will be duplicated if you repeat that in pages.

    7. GeoDirectory has option that allow us to adapt it to virtually any theme. Obivoulsy if you chose one of ours it will make everything easier.
