Access control in multisite environment

    In a mutisite environment, we have added users at individual subsite level. We have also carefully defined roles (Member and Admin) and have indicated in each menu item, page, event, etc. whether the menu or the page is accessible to everybody, logged ou users or logged in users. Great is our surprise to notice that ALL logged in users have access to ALL restricted pages throughout the ENTIRE network, instead of just the restricted pages of the subsite where the user has been added to… How can we change that? After reviewing all settings I cannot figure out what is going wrong. Thanks for your assistance.
