Does BackupGuard support S3-compatible storage

I’m would like to use BackupGuardPro with my S3-compatible cloud storage provider (wasabi.com). I have found that some WP backup plug-ins that support S3 have hard-coded the config such that you can’t enter in the S3 domain URL (s3.wasabisys.com) in my case. Before I purchase Pro, can someone indicate if this is a supported feature or not? Thanks!

@wavejd, yes it’s supported! I don’t think there will be issues with that. In case you’ll face an issue, please keep me posted and I’ll do my best to figure it out for you.

Hi Lisa – thanks for the note. I did purchase Backup Guard Gold and I’m afraid that your S3 implementation doesn’t seem to support the feature I was asking about. The Amazon settings screen allows you to enter in the bucket / region / key info but doesn’t allow you to enter in the URL. Please see below for some examples of how other WP plugin providers that support S3 cloud storage handle it. Thanks, Jim

I see it! I’ve reported this to our developers. Definitely we’ll support this in the upcoming updates.

Now this is fixed, you can check it out!

Note: Amazon S3 is available in Gold version and any S3 compatible server is available in Platinum version at this moment.
