Sidebar not showing the changes

I moved my blog witht he Export/Import. Everything is ok except for the sidebar that was not exported/imported. Well, that was no big deal and i wanted to simply retype the links i had initially (since i didn`t have many, it was no biggie). But now, i notice that even though i changed and added some link categories, and some links to them, even though i see them in the dashboard, they just do not show up in the blog itself. It still keeps the default “Meta” category, and even if i edit links IN that category, they dont show up.

Maybe i am missing something simple?
