pwd Problem after manual upgrade

    Hi,

    I had to upgrade a very old WP instance (V3…) to the last one following the manual update process from the codex.

    When I tried to log to my dashboard after the install I’ve been prompted with a message to accept a DB update, which I did….

    Now when I try to log in back to my dashboard I get an error message:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare reset_password() (previously declared in /htdocs/public/www/wp-login.php:221) in /htdocs/public/www/wp-includes/user.php on line 2265

    any idea on how to fix?
