I have been using MailPoet 3 for some time now and your support to address things that have come up with the Betas has been excellent!

I do have one issue that I believe needs some attention. We have been using Post Notification emails to let our members know about a constant new stream of Blog posts on our website.

The problem is that any edits to the Post email cause that email to only be sent if a new post is made AFTER the change in the email. This results in a regular set of our Blog posts not being sent to our users. Minor edits to the Post notification emails should NOT ignore intervening posts – a date that the email was last sent should be kept and used to determine which new posts to send these emails and when to send them.

To help understand what we mean, here are some scenarios –

    Current (Problem) Scenario
    1. Existing Post Notification is sent 5 am yesterday
    2. Two new Posts are created today
    3. A minor change is made in the social icons at the end of the Post Notification email
    4. Because of #3, no post notification email is sent at 5 am today

    Desired Scenario
    1. Existing Post Notification is sent 5 am yesterday AND DATE/TIME OF LAST SENT is recorded
    2. Two new Posts are created today
    3. A minor change is made in the social icons at the end of the Post Notification email
    4. Date and time of #2 is compared to DATA/TIME recorded in #1 and a new Post Notification email is sent because to two new posts are made AFTER the DATE/TIME recorded in #1.
