    Hey guys!

I just installed Yoast SEO for my website http://www.buildyourincome.ws. Its great and all so far but it seems that it’s inserted the featured image of each blog post into the top of each blog post and they weren’t there before I installed and activated Yoast SEO… I don’t want my featured images at the top of my blog posts, in fact, I don’t want them in my blog posts at all but I can’t find the settings anywhere to change that. I can’t remove the featured image because then on the blog post carousel, it won’t have the image and it’ll be ugly af…. I just want my blog posts to be the way they were before – simply without the featured image at the top of each blog post – without having to uninstall Yoast SEO.

    Please help!
    What do I do?!

    Sincerely,
    buildyourincome.ws

Yoast SEO does not suppose to modify the theme layout and design. That sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the conflict check. If there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

I was able to fix this issue by going changing a setting that I haven’t thought of checking previously. In fact, I don’t think Yoast SEO was the cause of this (unless it changes blog settings on its own when you install and activate).

Thank you for your help and patience and your thoroughness in helping us out 🙂 we gladly appreciate it!
