    Hello!

I am a WooCommerce newbie and I have an issue I can’t find a solution for..
We have recently setup a WordPress-based shop with WooCommerce and purchased the Subscription Extension (v. 2.2.12)

We have one product with a variable pricing:

    Version 1:
    subcription: 1$
    setup fee: 10$

    Version 2:
    subscription: 3$
    setup fee: 30$

When a (test-)customer picks one of the products everything is fine. Payment integration works flawless. However, when the customer has chosen and paid Version 1 and then switches to Version 2, we have this issue:

The new subscription should be $3, and (as we charge only the setup fee difference between the two version) the new setup fee should be $30 – $10 = $20.

For the shopping cart WooCommerce calculates a new subscription of $3 (which is correct) but a new setup fee of only $22 instead of $20.

Our conclusion is that the additional $2 are the price difference between the two subscriptions ($3 – $1 = $2). But why does the Subscription mix these two things up? Is this maybe how it’s supposed to be? Does the plugin assume that the customer has already paid the monthly subscription and now as he has to pay the difference just adds it to the setup fee?

Where can this be disabled? We would rather like the customers to get this month for the old price and be charged the new one next month. And we would like to keep the setup fee simple: (new one) minus (old one). Anything else is quite confusing.

    Thank you very much!
