    Hi,
    when i try to smush my images appears 89 image(s) were skipped due to an error.
    Smush request timed out, You can try setting a higher value for WP_SMUSH_API_TIMEOUT.

    I don’t understand what i have to do. Can i help me please?

    Thank you for using Smush. In looking through your site it looks like the images are larger than the free version of Smush is intended to handle. Smush free can only optimize images up to 1mb in size. To keep the big beautiful images for retina screens but still pass PageSpeed tests you need to serve different images based on the screen size. You can use a plugin or scrset HTML to help with this. If you want to optimize the larger images you can give Smush Pro a try for free. I hope that helps. 🙂

    Thanks a lot.
    I’m asking you a question to be sure that i understand:)
    Regarding the images 1 and 2, smush can’t optimize it because weights 1,8 MB and 2,2 MG. Is it correct? But i’m reading: “SMUSH STATS + ”

    That is correct. Images over 1MB will not compress with the free version.
