Ok, so today, I go to logon to my blog, well it wouldn’t let. So I went through the process of trying to get my login information.

Well, some how my login for admin has been changed to “izri-ino”, but when I do a google on that it returns alot of hacked pages.

Question is how to I go about getting my original login username back and how to I prevent it from happening again. Thanks

How do you know that your login has been changed to izri-ino if you can’t login? Where do you see that username on your site?

To get your login back, reset your admin password through phpMyAdmin. See the video at the link below…if you look in your database and don’t see an admin username, then post back…you may have bigger problems…

change it in the database, presumed the same way you discovered it had been changed.

as for the rest of your question, thats impossible to say since we dont know what you have going on on your site. plugins you are using, where you hosted, etc..

I used the can’t remember password/user named feature, when logging in.

I put in the email address that I used for the admin account, so it emailed me the login information and a new password. And the login information had been changed. I was able to then log in, but unable to change the login name from WordPress, can I change the login name in PHPadmin or will that cause bigger issues?

can I change the login name in PHPadmin

has the actual login name been changed? if so, then yes.

Yes the actual login name has been changed.

change it then, it will be the second field in the users table.
