Insert Music won’t create link in post

I’m experiencing an odd little problem when attempting to add music to my post. I have an mp3 file I want to link to some text in a post. I click on the insert audio link, upload the file, and insert into the post. The title of the audio displays in the post, but it’s not linked to the audio itself. I can’t for the life of me understand why this isn’t working.

Anyone have any thoughts on what the problem might be?
