Hello, I have it set to block for 30 days all failed attempts, etc. so I have a long list of ip’s blocked. I click the “permanently block all temporarily blocked ip addresses”
and nothing happens. Why can’t do this with 1 click of a button?

    Thanks,
    Ron

Also I have all blocked and other settings to max time, 30 or 60 days and yet there are many that keep constantly coming up in the blocking report with only a 10 min countdown to be unblocked.

How do I up this to much higher and then be able to click the permanent block all temp like mentioned above that doesn’t work.

    Thanks,
    Ron

    Hi @ron200sx,

Regarding the “permanently block all temporarily blocked IP addresses” feature not working I suggest you try and check that scripts run properly in your browser.
In order to do so, please open your browser console and repeat the problematic action.

As for the addresses appearing in the blocking report with only a 10 min countdown to be unblocked, they are most likely coming from the WordPress Security Network. Wordfence itself wouldn’t have much control over these; and there are no options for changing that via the plugin.

However – although I don’t recommend doing so – you can choose to disable the related option in the Other Options section of the Wordfence Options page.

Not coming from wordpress coming from wordfence sercurity network.

    Hi ron200sx!
It seems like there is some confusion here due to a naming error in our plugin / documentation. The “Wordfence Security Network” and the “WordPress Security Network” are actually the same thing.

I am afraid it is not possible to control the block time for this particular type of block.

If you have any follow up questions, just let me know!
