Refreshing Permalinks

    Hi all,
    I just noticed the permalink structure on my website is set to “custom”. I wanted that to be “name and date”… Can I just change that setting in the permalinks menu, click “save changes” and have it changed like that without breaking my site?

    It won’t break your site, but if any posts have been indexed by search engines, or bookmarked by users, then they won’t have the correct URL anymore.

    What does that mean exactly? They have to go back to my homepage and manually browse to the link themselves or …?

    Other question too: I have a number of links on my site, linking to the different pages of it… Will all these links still work after I change the structure?

    I changed the structure back to date and name. So far, everything still works fine!
