Image uploading problem

    Just started a blog in December. When ever I go to upload an image I get the following error message:

    Unable to create directory /var/www/users/userweb60922/html/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Can anyone give me a solution?
