Scan does not start, nothing logged

    I installed WordFence – I go to “Start a Wordfence Scan” and it spins for 5 seconds and then goes back to “Start a Wordfence Scan”. Nothing logged. Tried enabling “Start all scans remotely”, no difference.

    Tools diagnostics shows: wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was: 200 OK

    Hi @mjducharme,

    The error message indicates that the server hosting your site is not able to connect to itself.

    This is most likely due to the network configuration (routes, firewall…).

    Could you please check with your hosting provider to see if they can modify the configuration in order to allow the host to connect to itself?

    The “Start all scans remotely” feature not working could also be linked to a misconfiguration preventing the host to reach Wordfence servers.

    If WordFence servers cannot be reached would also mean, that the same Connectivity section in Tools – Diagnostics should also show those failures. In addition to the failing call back to itself.
