Cateogry Images plugin error

    I’m using the Category Images plugin and had installed it and got it working fine when previewing it in a new theme, but when I go to the dashboard to activate the theme I get the error

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function c2c_the_category_image() in /home/dominicc/public_html/wp-content/themes/WP-Fansite/index.php on line 20

    Where am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!
