    Hi
I am using Elegant Themes Divi and have a home page slider created for responsive viewports Desktop, Tablet and Phone. This is a common structure using the Divi theme.

Every time my homepage loads or is refreshed, a duplicate of the Divi slider that appears on the page becomes visible. The time the issue is visible varies between a blink of an eye to a second or two before resolving correctly.

Originally, I thought this was a Divi issue and had numerous support dialogues with the theme providers who tested and probed my site.

They created a new page and could not replicate the problem. I have only recently discovered they did not replicate with your product slider in place thinking it was a viewport issue only related to phone, tablet or desktop modules.

I have now replicated myself with your product slider in place as on my homepage and discovered when your plugin is enabled along with the 3 viewport modules, which is necessary, the duplication occurs, when disabled there is no duplication.

Along with the theme developers suggestions, I have tried caching to solve the issue without success. It would be helpful if you could advise a course of action or if you can shed some light on a probable cause.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Cheers

Sorry about the quality, I shot it using print screen so the resolution is low.

Thanks for your screenshot, but sorry to say don’t understand how the image is related with our slider.

I understand why you might think that and ask how it is related. The problem only occurs when the product slider is enabled.

When your slider module is enabled the divi slider module duplicates on load and refresh as shown in my image. When your slider module is disabled the divi slider module does not duplicate and works as it should.

Please try using the actual homepage rather than my test page to see if you can see the issue. https://bfreealpine.com

If also using cache plugin try deactivate to check the issue.

    Hi

    Thanks for taking a look.

I found the plugin that was recording the error however when it is deactivated the duplication of the slider still occurs.

I have carried further testing and I’m now unsure if your plugin is causing the issue, which still remains. I was able to replicate the duplication this time with your plugin deactivated which I already tested with a positive result which is why I made contact and was sure it was related.

    Now, not so sure.

I am going to go back to the theme developer and open another ticket and see what comes of that.

Please accept my apologies if I caused inconvenience. I will close this ticket as resolved and only contact again should it be necessary.

    Cheers
