Unable to edit slider on frontpage

    After a few days of getting the entire site set up, I am suddenly unable to edit the slider for some reason. Do I have something turned on somewhere that prevents this? I am at Appearance>Customize>FrontPage>Slider>edit content I just get a blank box, even on the Text tab

    I am having the same issue and have jetpack installed. I cant seem to edit the content so I still have the optimizer logo on my front page.

    Jetpack Contact form module is causing this issue.

    To disable it,

    1. Go to Jetpack → Settings.

    2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of that page and click “Debug”.

    3. Select the “Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site” link to open the list.

    4. Deactivate the “Contact Form” module.

    This will fix the Customizer editor issue.

    I disabled all plug-ins and still can not edit the slider buttons. Also for the slider, I can’t add a slideshow or video. I’m using WordPress 4.9.1 and your free theme.

    Hi,

    Please make sure you set your frontpage to “Your Latest Posts” from Customize > Frontpage > Frontpage Settings. If that doesnt work, please try re-installing the theme?

    I have confirmed it was set to “Your Latest Posts” and also tried re-installing. I get the same problems. I’ve tried in both Safari and Chrome.

    Hi,

    Did you add a slider image at-least, without the slider image, the buttons wont be visible. Just checked your site and not seeing the slider image.

    Hey…sorry I guess I should have turned it back on. I had it turned off since I couldn’t remove the buttons. I’ll turn it back on. Just please let me know once you have seen it and I can turn it back off.

    Hi,

    To remove the buttons, simply, go to Customize > Frontpage > Slider and clear the text field of “CTA Button 1 text” and “CTA Button 2 text” and save the settings and they will be removed.

    That’s the problem I am having. I can not get to the text fields to clear them. When I go to front page and slider, I try to click on the button CTA but nothing happens. I never get a text field to clear it.
