wordpress not getting installed

Hello can anybody help me, i am trying to create blog using wordpress,i did all the things to be done but still blog is not getting created, am receiving the message below:

Can’t select database

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the bgroup_borderland database.

* Are you sure it exists?
* Does the user bgroup_udnepal have permission to use the bgroup_borderland database?
* On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_bgroup_borderland. Could that be the problem?
