If you set your blog to show 10 posts, it should show that many, even with a sticky post enabled.
But I guess your theme is having problems handling the sticky post. If setting it to 10, with a sticky post equals 11…set it to show 9 posts, you should be left with 10.
I do test it using default theme… it still show 11 post… If its because of the theme, can you recommend me one theme that can make this.. i just wanna study them…
The default theme should work fine, is the version of the default theme you are using from 2.7? There would probably be a few changes in that version to support sticky posts and threaded comments.
There are three themes in the Theme Directory that are tagged “sticky-post”, they may have better support for sticky posts.
Did you try switching your blog to show 9 posts?
yeah it works when i set it to show 9 posts, on the first page it shows 10 page (plus the sticky post), but on the 2nd page, it show 9 page..

Sticky posts aren’t counted towards the number of posts to show.
