    Easy enough to use, and it seems to do a good job of compressing jpg’s so far, although Google PageSpeed complains that they could be slightly smaller. Perhaps the paid version of WPSmush would squeeze out those last few bytes–I’m currently using the free version, so I can’t say.

    Thank you for using Smush. Google PageSpeed has two things it is checking for. Smush free and pro both only address compression. If after running your images through Smush you are still getting a PageSpeed prompt it is most likely you have not scaled your image to the container size. Scaling images for each container is an important step in optimizing images. It can be a bit time consuming if you upload a ton of images but it is well worth the effort. I hope that helps!
