TripAdvisor widget no longer working

    Hello! Is anyone else having problems with TripAdvisor review widgets? I build a lot of tourism websites, so tend to use TA links quite a lot, and embed the TA provided widget code in the Footer.

    I’ve got sites on older versions of WP that are still working fine, such as http://www.graysinnwollombi.com.au/ but sites that have been updated to newest WP version are no longer working http://www.kitchentotable.com.au/

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have posted on the TripAdvisor Owners Forum, but response there was that it appears to be a WordPress only problem.

    You answered the question yourself. Plugin has not been updated for 4.8.1 The problem lies in their plugin.

    Hi, sorry, it isn’t a plugin. I’ve just always pasted the code provided by TripAdvisor into a text widget in the Footer. Has always worked before, but now doesn’t. I’m not really sure what else to try??

    Looking at your site (http://www.kitchentotable.com.au/) it looks like you’ve fixed it. Could you tell me how? I’m running into the same issue.

    I worked out it was a conflict with the Facebook plugin I was using https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-facebook-likebox/ I did contact the developer of that plugin and he attempted to sort the problem out, but in the end I still couldn’t get both things working, so I had to find another FB plugin.
