• Just thought I would let you know that the Toolset Types plugin conflict with the Woocommerce Product Feed Plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/webappick-product-feed-for-woocommerce/). Running the latest version of WordPress, and the latest version of both plugins, you cannot create a new Custom Post Type with Toolset and you cannot edit any existing Post Types. Turning off Woocommerce Product Feed Plugin allows the Toolset plugin to work again. I’m not entirely sure where the conflict resides, but I wanted to bring this to your attention.

I downloaded that Plugin and installed it with Toolset Types.

I then created a New Custom Post Type and edited one I already had on the system.

    It worked with no conflict.

If you can elaborate concise steps that lead to the conflict, please post them over here, eventually with a copy of your site (you can use a Private Post in your first post).
(You will need a free Subscription to post there)

We will then carefully analyse this again and finally, start a compatibility work if it’s needed.

    Thanks!

    Thanks.

The concise steps that lead to a problem are when you have the Types plugin installed and the Woocommerce Product Feed Plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/webappick-product-feed-for-woocommerce/),on the latest version of WordPress. When you do that, if you try to create a new Type or Edit an old type, the “Saving Your Changes” from Types just keeps spinning and nothing every happens. When you then disable the Woocommerce Product Feed Plugin, you can then create a new post type again and/or edit an old one with Types with no problem (the spinning “Saving your Changes” from types goes on for a few seconds, but then stops).

I can confirm that this is the issue, since our team spent hours trying to figure out why our Types plugin wasn’t working anymore to create a new post type. After disabling all plugins, reenabling them one by one, changing themes etc., the problem was isolated to the Woocommerce Product Feed Plugin. Pretty much the only way our site works with Types now, is that when we need to create new Type we need to disable the Woocommerce Product Feed Plugin, then we create the new Type, and then we renable the product feed plugin again. Sames goes for editing types. Luckily we don’t really have to create new Types again or edit them many times (once a year usually), so it’s not a big deal. But, there is certainly a conflict here. I will try to run a debug later today to see if it spits out any errors that maybe more helpful to your team. But, at this time, from a practical perspective, I can verify that there is a conflict, because of the process of elimination we wen thru as per above.

    OK, thank you for this.

As stated, I tested those steps, and I was not able to replicate the problem.

Hence this sounds like an exception.

Instead of wasting time and running a debug yourself, you can just provide us with a Site’s Snapshot over at the free forum, as I linked to.

We will then analyse this in depth and handle accordingly.

    Thank you
