    Hello-

I have tried for many hours now to get my posts to show both a large image with a summary of my articles. Nothing special, just exactly what Yoast offers. However, I cannot get a summary to appear with my image – just the title and link.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried every tutorial and documentation out there and it still does not work properly. The website I am referring to is http://www.popucrime.com .

    Many thanks

  • Just to clarify, are you trying to share a post on Facebook? If you are, you might need to force update Facebook’s cache of that page. To do that, go to the Facebook debug tool, enter the URL you wish to update and click scrape again. You may need to click “Scrage Again” a few times.

    Thanks, Rumejan!

I’m actually just trying to get both the large image and summary to appear when I try to Tweet out a post. So, just Twitter.

you need to reduce the image for fast loading 🙂

Your image does not meet Twitter’s image guidelines for this card type.

You should not use a generic image such as your website logo, author photo, or other image that spans multiple pages. Images for this Card support an aspect ratio of 2:1 with minimum dimensions of 300×157 or maximum of 4096×4096 pixels.

Thanks for your input. However, I meet all of the criteria above that you have mentioned. Do you have any other tips?

    Many thanks.

After reviewing the code for your site, you are outputting multiple copies of the Twitter tags. The Yoast SEO tags have the summary large image but something else outputs two summary tags (the smaller image option). This can cause problems when sharing content as Twitter will not always pull the data entered in our plugin.

Please disable plugins or theme functions that add Twitter tags. If you are unsure what is adding the additional tags, please run a conflict check following the steps here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts
