Users are getting the following upon registering:

“App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don’t have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.”

Is there an updated step-by-step instruction to set up a FB app for this plugin? The instructions in the plugin are not accurate anymore, there is no advanced setup, there is settings-advanced, but then there is no place for step 3. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.. Any suggestions?

Ok so here is what you have to do for 2017:

Create new app, add name, add url.
Then click add platform just under that section and select www, save.
Then in the main menu to the left click app review and click the button at the top to make the app public and select a category.
Go back to settings to get your ID and App key.

Also. Don’t try to change an old fb app that you are not longer using, create a new one.
