[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] 2.7 error when saving page or post

Got this error after activating the latest version of NG with 2.7 (still getting even after deactivating the plugin!)

It appears to be a conflict with the Search Unleashed plugin. I deleted all the nextgen gallery files, now when trying to write a new post, I get this error after selecting the category, in a red box beneath the wysiwyg editor:
