Does the player support base 64 url?

    I’d like to know if the player supports base 64 as the url & playlist strings? Thanks.

    Hello lyip,

    thank you for the interesting idea, however I’m not sure how useful this would be. While it would make the video URL less obvious in the page HTML it would be still possible to get it from browser network activity log.

    To really protect your videos from downloading you need to use DRM. FV Player Pro has that: https://foliovision.com/player/securing-your-video/hls-stream

    Thanks for your reply. What I want to do is prevent average users to download the video from the restricted area by just showing the html source. Yes, I know advanced user can still decode the texts or use the network activity as you said to see the exact links. Anyway I’ll learn the DRM feature of the PRO version. Thank you so much 🙂
