Proximity Search Results

Is it possible to customize the proximity search results?
The current maximum miles radius is 250. If there is no listing with a location set within 250 miles of the location the user has entered, they get a message that there are no results for their search.

Is there a code change / addition I can make that will allow for a ‘zoomed all the way out’ map showing all available listings, and a message like, “there aren’t any results in your immediate area, but here is everything”?
