    Hello @tsheza

Can you please provide a screenshot because I am not exactly sure what you mean.

I cant exactly provide a screenshot but i’ll explain what I mean.

The title of my forum posts are “Crutech Forum Community” which is the root page title (i.e the page with the [forum] tag). But I want the forum posts to carry the thread/topic title as the page title.

    I hope am clear now?

    I see.

Basically the forum already has its own title (between breadcrumbs and content). When I would modify the title, the same title would be there twice. Maybe it could be a better idea to just hide the page-title via CSS inside of your template?

I’m actually referring to the page “header” title.

For e.g the head title of this current forum thread is: “Topic: Forum topic as title << WordPress.org Forums”

Oh, I see. I overwrite the page-title in the plugin which you can see in my demonstration website. So I assume that your theme is overwriting it again or some SEO plugin is doing some magic there. For the last one you could try to disable this plugin for the forum-page.

Thanks a bunch…I have found the plugin…Its YOAST SEO. I can’t disable it totally because it’s functional to my website but you made mention of disabling the plugin for just the forum page…any tips on how I can go about that?

    Hello

I am not actually sure, but here is a code example:

But the best way to get a hint on that would be to ask in their support forums. 🙂
