Hi – I am using Autoptimize plugin along with Ultimate Member plugin, and both were working fine together about 1-2 months ago. Suddenly last month, Ultimate Member Login screen (username password labels, entry boxes, submit button) stopped displaying on the login screen. They are still present on the login screen, but just not visible on screen.

As soon as I deactivate the autoptimize plugin, the login screen of Ultimate Member plugin starts displaying correctly. So, I understand that either there is some conflict between the two plugins now, or some settings need to be changed for Autoptimize.

Can you please help me with this issue, as I would like to keep both plugins enabled? Thanks.

    Best,
    Ambuj

ah, I just answered in your other thread; try excluding the ultimate member CSS from CSS optimization πŸ™‚

    hope this helps,

As suggested, in advanced settings of Autoptimize, in the exclude css row, i tried adding ultimatemember/css/* and ultimatemember/css, but it still does not work with UM Login.

let’s take a step back; can you disable CSS autoptimization to confirm this is a CSS optimization issue? if not, can you disable JS autoptimization?

Tried as suggested. The issue is arising due to JS optimization, not CSS optimization. When I unchecked JS optimization in the basic settings of Autoptimize, it worked.

Now, please suggest what exactly should I add in the Autoptimize Advanced settings to specifically exclude JS optimization for ultimate member plugin only. Thanks a lot.

Please note unchecking JS optimization in the Autoptimize basic settings resolves the issue, but if instead I go in the advanced Javascript options, and add ‘ultimatemember/js/’ in the exclude scripts from Autoptimize, it does not work.

What exactly should I add there to make it work? Thanks.

well, I’m not the UM specialist, but looking at their source code it’s probably

    ultimate-member/assets/js/

also make sure js/jquery/jquery.js is still in the exclusion-list (it is there by default), as UM’s JS depends on that.

    afraid I don’t understand @sanaalazmeth …

-> is js/jquery/jquery.js excluded from Autoptimize’s JS optimization?
-> did you also exclude ultimate-member/assets/js/ (i.e. did you add that to the comma-separated list of AO JS optimizations exclusions?

and if the answer is “yes” to both, what is happening? do you see JS errors on your browser console?

    frank

I’m sorry i meant to send the message to ultimate member . I don’t use AutoOptimize.
    Thanks for your reply anyway!
