Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
Most likely, this is caused by the TablePress access capabilities going missing. To restore them, could you please try the suggestion from https://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablepress-setting-menu-desapeared/#post-8254617 ?

TobiasIn editor Plugin: TablePress
No find file suggest.Hi,
this is not in the file editor.
Just surf to http://www.your-site.com/wp-admin/options.php
There, you should find this mentioned option.Regards,
TobiasIn https://www.visitlagodiviverone.org/wp-admin/options.php have:
Field: Tablepress_Table
{“plugin_options_db_version”:34,”table_scheme_db_version”:3,”prev_tablepress_version”:”1.7″,”tablepress_version”:”1.8″,”first_activation”:XXXXXXXXX,”message_plugin_update”:true,”message_donation_nag”:false,”use_custom_css”:true,”use_custom_css_file”:true,”custom_css”:””,”custom_css_minified”:””,”custom_css_version”:0}
Change in
{“plugin_options_db_version”:0,”table_scheme_db_version”:3,”prev_tablepress_version”:”1.7″,”tablepress_version”:”1.8″,”first_activation”:XXXXXXXXX,”message_plugin_update”:true,”message_donation_nag”:false,”use_custom_css”:true,”use_custom_css_file”:true,”custom_css”:””,”custom_css_minified”:””,”custom_css_version”:0}It is necessary to wait for the rescue before changing the page, in our case it took only 1 minute. From Safari (we’re Mac) we did not succeed, by Chrome yes, the rescue percentage is indicated at the end of the page.
Problem solved. Very thank Tobias.

no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Best wishes,
TobiasHi,
I am having the same problem in that Tablepress has disappeared from my admin menu. I have tried the offered solution, changing plugin_options_db_version”:34 to plugin_options_db_version”:0, and saving the change. It indicates that the change is saved sucessfully but when I check the value is back to 34. Is there another way of resetting this value?
Thanks.
MikeHi Mike,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
The value is supposed to be back at 34. The change to 0 basically triggers a re-initialization, which consists of resetting the access capabilities and of setting that number back (among a few other thing).
If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!Regards,
Tobias
