excessive number of calls to ad_white_on_orange.png

    my hosting provider issued a warning that gridlist-view-for-woocommerce generates an excessive number of calls to ../images/ad_white_on_orange.png; I had to increase my subscription to cope with this. I could not find another plugin that would give the list view as default for WooCommerce.

    My hosting provider indicated:
    grep -c gridlist-view-for-woocommerce
    82724
    mostly due to:
    GET /wp-content/plugins/gridlist-view-for-woocommerce/includes/../images/ad_white_on_orange.png

    our hosing provider is siteground.com
    the website is easyweek.nl
    we organize a small sailing regatta on a lake with some 50 contestants
    we have added some polo’s in our shop and because of the small number we just want a list view in the shop, no grid.
    there will be about 200 visitors to our site so we cannot understand how the plugin can generate over 80,000 server calls?
