    Hi there,

I cannot translate the packing list into German. At present it is in English. My WP backend is in English and the front-end in German.

I am using Loco translate, and translating the strings in the “Premium Templates” plugin. So far the translation files are located here: languages/loco/plugins/wpo_wcpdf_templates-de_DE.po

However the packing list stays in English, even though I have translated the strings in the Premium Template.

    Help required! Thank you.

Hi! What are you using for the site language? Without something like WPML or Polylang, the plugin will always use the ‘current’ language of the context. So requesting the PDF from the frontend would then generate it in German, from the English backend would result in an English PDF.
If you are working with WPML and Polylang (I personally think the latter is much better), you need the Professional extension for full multilingual support.

    Hi there,

Thanks your this. I have managed to resolve it by copying the .po and .mo files into the languages/plugins folder. So a little play aound helped (I am using Loco translate).

Glad to hear that! It’s strange though, since German translations are already shipped with the plugin by default, so I’m not sure why that didn’t work in the first place.

Yes no idea why…. there is something strange with the language files, but got it working 🙂
