Though I believe this is just another fake problem, I want to tackle the issue “Serve static resources from a domain that doesn’t set cookies” in order to speed up my site.
In normal circumstances, I understand it would just mean that you keep all images in a subdomain. But how does it works with Worpdress? How can you have images in a subdomain if they are uploaded in the media library?

  • I do not know the answer to your question, but the CloudFlare free tier provides distributed caching of static resources, which I think should work at least as well as an image subdomain in speeding up your site. I understand the JetPack plugin also provides distributed caching of images, but JetPack is too heavy for me.

You just install few plugins like Autoptimize, Comet Cache, WP-Smush, and set them properly. Your all problems will be set or [link removed]
