Header slider: Random posts

    Hi,
    I really like and enjoy the theme.
    Is there any way to control in which way posts are displayed in the header slider? As I have in the sidebar already the “Latest posts” widget, I would like to have random artices showing up in the slider. I know that one can chnage the category from which the posts are shown, but not the way. There are always the latest. Can they be randomly displayed?
