I’m using Draw Attention plugin to create URL hotspots on an image. It is a very elegant program and does everything I need up to a point. The problem is that they have no support for non-premium users, they require exporting the created image file after configuring it on the plugin within WordPress, but upon importing it back into WordPress, it does not appear anywhere, or the import comes back with an error message: due to security issues this file cannot be imported. The last tested issue of this plugin was for WordPress 4.7.5, so maybe that is the reason? I don’t want to commit to the premium version, until I know it will work for me.

    Hello!

I’m sorry that you’re having trouble – I need a bit more information about the issue that you’re having to be able to sort things out. Are you trying to move your image from one WordPress site to another? That’s the only reason why you would need to export/import the image.

Our plugin has been tested up through the current version of WordPress, but we’re having a few issues with updating that information on our plugin page. We’re working on it though! And we absolutely offer support for free customers – we offer support for free users through these forums.

    –Natalie
