The daily backups of just the database are completing, but not the weekly which is set for files and database. When I try to open the weekly tab I get this error. I get the same error if I try to create a new schedule.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 226 bytes) in /home/name/public_html/site.com/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/classes/class-site-size.php on line 274

I’ve tired increasing the memory in wp-config with no difference.

What do you think the problem is?

Okay… my bad 🙁 Though I was seeing the problem when dealing the the backups, it was a site problem and not specific to this plugin. A caching plugin changed how it needed to be configured and it wasn’t deleting any old cache! There were over 100K of files just sitting there. Anyway, hope this information helps someone else.

Thanks for following up and letting us know this was due to a caching issue! Hope it helps someone else too!
