WP Core Editor is good as is!

    Please, please do not roll the Gutenberg editor into the WordPress core! This should remain as a plugin only. As a plug-in it’s value is limited to those who prefer its features. Forcing it’s use on every user will cause headaches for many, and migraines for those of us with clients who do not want any added complexity or yet another learning curve.

    The plans for what happens with Gutenberg aren’t set in stone. One thing that has been said from the start is there will be an option to ‘turn off’ Gutenberg. The hope is it will evolve over time to be something that you won’t want to, but the choice will be there. How that happens isn’t set yet.
