Just had my website converted over to WordPress 2.7 by a ‘pro’ so that I can maintain it. I am able to edit and add pages, etc. but I am stuck one area.

I would like to be able to add new pages to the website and to look at them in ‘pre-publish’ mode (my words). When I hit the “Preview” button it takes me to the website but I do not see my changes there. I then “Publish” and the page nicely shows up on the live site.

But the whole point of what I am trying to do is to be able to ‘see’ new/revised webpages in a WYSIWYG format — for now it seems like my choices are (a) to look at new web pages in the WP editor or (b) go ‘live’ with them and see them on the website.

    Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

  • Jefferis,
You should be able to save your pages as ‘draft’ and then be able to preview them. Once you are content with the results you can go ahead and publish them.
