How to find category id?

    Using version 2.7 I am using a review site theme that has a section where it says I need to “go to Manage>Categories and you’ll be able to see the numeric values assigned to each category”. In 2.7 I don’t see any numbers at all when I look at Posts>Categories and I don’t see any other place to look. Can anybody lead this blind guy who can’t see the numbers through the forest?

    Hi there, in posts, categories, if you hover your mouse over any category name, the id will be in the tool tip that shows, also by going to any category from the front page, the id is on the end of the url.
    Confusing isn’t it, hope you get there.

    Thanks mikey1, I appreciate the help. It was there for me to see all the time LOL
