Plugin compatibility issue- can’t edit pages

Hi, after updating to the latest version I am no longer able to edit any posts or pages. When I go to edit both tabs “Visual” and “Text” are completely blank. I tried turning off Elementor in settings and “edit with elementor” disappeared but the page is still completely blank under the “Visual” and “text” tabs. So I tried deactivating the plugin and it won’t even allow me to deactivate the plugin. Help, I need to edit some pages right away on the site.
