Import custom order

    hi
    I have a staff list plugin, I update the staff by importing from CSV.

    Can you please explain how the sorting is done with your plugin? I originally thought that it added a meta value and used that to sort but that doesnt appear to be the case.
    Ideally I want to see CSV values for a custom field (your one), which is then used for sorting on the site.

    I have a feeling your plugin updates the main table, the menu_order field, rather than relying just on meta fields.

    Hi,
    The order indexes are saved within the menu_order column. Using custom fields will require too many queries and eat unnecessarily server resources.
