Simple Yearly Archive Plug-in

    Anyone have experience with this plug-in? I cannot seem to get it to work in place of the default Archive view. The current Archive view lists the posts as; Month Year if there is more than one post in the same month it will list Month Year again. This default listing leaves a long long list going back 7 years.

    The Simple Yearly Archive supposed to give me what I want; A list of years with drop down listing of posts in each year.
    I have activated and set the date format of the plug-in but I still see the current default long Archive.
    Any Ideas Please?
