Contact Form 7 cannot change settings

    I am attempting to configure wordpress to send emails. I have tried multiple SMTP plugins and it is not sending from any form plugin’s I use.

    In contact form 7, if I leave the email recipient as the original email I setup WordPress with the message will send. If I attempt to change this or add an email as a CC, the form stops working.

    I am currently running on a digital ocean droplet with unbuntu 14 and wordpress 4.8 installed.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
