    Hi, I am having a problem with my WordPress account. After transferring the site from a shared server to a VPS, I couldn’t upload images or update and download plugins. I tried changing the file permissions, but that didn’t work. (I am not changing them to 777)

    This is getting really frustrating, as I am 13 years old, and I am currently managing another WordPress site.

    How can I get WordPress to allow to update plugins and themes, and upload images?

    Check your logs to see if this might be an SELinux error. Also, check that you have sufficient space on the the partition that holds wp-content.
