Apparently Not 100% Compatible Generate Press

So I can get the log inside my main menu just fine, but there is this box around the image that is different then the rest of the menu background color. I’m assuming this is as planned because generate press sells a plugin for this….is there anyway css way around this…or am I going to have spend $40 to make it work lol.
