AMP above loop and AMP below loop widget areas not always showing?
-
Hi there,
Thank you for your comprehensive plugin.I’m trying to customize the appearance of AMP pages. I see that you have the Page Builder (AMP) widget area for creating a single landing page that either one page can be over ridden by, or multiple pages over ridden by.
However, I’m trying to come up with solutions for widgets to appear site-wide on all AMP pages or posts. I see the AMP above loop and AMP below loop widget areas, which I am guessing are meant for this purpose.
I noticed though, that these widget areas are not appearing in all circumstances. For instance, they don’t show on AMP single post or page urls. This is problematic.
I see them on the AMP front page.
I don’t see them on the AMP main blog archive.
Can you tell me where the loop starts and ends, in case this has to do with templating? And if so, how can we address this in our templates, without affecting our non-AMP pages?
I also can’t see them when using the WordPress customizer for AMP, which is a bit inconvenient for styling on a single screen and organizing things. But I guess that’s a separate issue?
I looked on your site, but all I can find regarding widgets is this page: https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/page-builder/
Will you be adding documentation on this soon?
Are these bugs?
Thanks!
