Resetting password not working

    Yeah, someone marked the other thread as resolved, and it wasn’t. I was still waiting to see of my hosters could fix the issue, but they haven’t been able to.

    So an email FINALLY came through to allow me to reset my password. One problem. I did, but now WordPress isn’t recognizing that it’s even reset. It still says that it’s the incorrect password. It also keeps bringing up this “Insecure Password Warning”. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/insecure-password-warning-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct

    I have no way to call wordpress to get tech help, and I have no idea what to do. My launch date for my site is literally in less than a week, and I have work to do on my website, but I can’t get in.

    The reset function just simply doesn’t work.

    One thing I forgot to add, there’s no confirmation link being sent. My hoster had to send an email for password reset.

    Who is your web hosting provider? Do you have access to cPanel?
    Can you please also provide the website URL.

    I don’t have CPanel. It’s a local hosting provider who also does computer services for me. I don’t have something like Bluehost or HostGator. It’s more like a county kind of service.

    When we finally reset the password from the hosting side, it initially let me log in. But when I tried to log back in with the new password, it keeps saying that it doesn’t exist and that it’s the wrong password.

    I need a tech specialist or a computer programmer. It’s not their end. It’s yours. Everything on their end appears to be going fine.

    It’s not their end.

    I need someone who can look at the programming and find out what’s wrong.

    How can I actually CALL WordPress? I need a live person to actually TALK to. Live.

    I can’t find a phone number or anything.

    I’m switching to Wix. You can actually call them for help when you need it. And it came recommended by a friend who didn’t recommend WordPress for various reasons.
